3d Layout

Here's a preview of the planned layout of the truck.

This is going to be anything but "van life." There will be no compromises on comfort. This won't even qualify as "glamping." It's just a very small studio apartment on wheels.

Features:
13KWH of Lithium energy in 2 custom 24v batteries (that's equivalent to about 11 Battleborn batteries)
2.8KW of solar
Full wet bath
Sleeps 3 with an electric elevator bed
4000 BTU AC, 3 different heating methods including heated floors
80+ gallons of heated freshwater storage
Custom 6'x2' sunroof/hatch
Custom recirculating shower

If you're a subscriber you get access to my Sketchup file that's built off the exact dimensions of the truck. Sketchup is a free online 3d design program that's more than powerful enough to plan the layout of a box/van build.

POLL: Do you own a conversion?

I want to know where everyone's at with their own conversions/tiny homes.

Training has begun. So far they love the space and the main reason I built it.

2022 Techno Barbarian Build Order Guide
I suffered so that you don't have to

This guide serves as an outline for what I see as the optimal build order for just about any mobile living platform. The purpose of writing this was to not only to take notes for myself and my next build, but give a jumping off point for people who are doing their own builds and may be overwhelmed or not know where to start.

Following this guide should minimize the pain you experience during your build by having to backtrack, fix mistakes, and also allow you to plan ahead with confidence.

As of Sept 2022 this is the order I would follow on my next build, but this is subject to evolve over time as I receive feedback and continue my own work.
